An Egyptian bronze figure of Bastet, late Period (VI century b. C) , in feline form, hollow cast and depicted seated in the classic pose with front legs together. The ears are erect and alert and the piece is overall a beautiful example. Glossy brown surfaces with patches of dark green. Provenance: Italian Collection, acquired in Italian auction house.
