Egyptian Translated Faience Shabti for Ankhesenmut. Third Intermediate Period, C 945 BC - 715 BC. A green and blue Ushabti for Ankhesenmut with text down the centre, large headdress, crock and frail and a seed basket on the back. Centre hieroglyphs indicate this shabti belonged to a female name Ankhesenmut. Repair below waist. Very small area of restoration on side of foot. Repairs done by Boston Museum of Fine Arts in the 1980's. . 11. 2cm. Ex. Private Collection, Lewis Collection, WA; Ex-Ruth Adams Collection, acquired from her father who acquired in Egypt at the turn of the 20th Century. Acquired from Artemis Gallery, USA.
