Ancient Greek, Hellenistic Bronze Bowl with an embossed Circle at the Center symbolizing the Omphalos. Luxury bowl with stunningly beautiful shapes. The experienced and gifted ancient hand skillfully ''overflows'' the folds of this Bowl. The meaning of the Embossed center is to Symbolize the Omphalos or the ''Navel'' (Center) of the World which the Zeus ordered to his Eagles to detect! This kind of bowls were used in some ancient Rituals so called Mysteries. slightly bent in a small area, and with some unsignificant scratches, otherwise almost intact with a lovely green-dark brown natural patina.
