The meaning of the Embossed center is to Symbolize the Omphalos or the ''Navel'' (Center) of the World which the Zeus ordered to his Eagles to detect! This kind of bowls were used in some ancient Rituals so called Mysteries. slightly bent in a small area, and with some unsignificant scratches, otherwise almost intact with a lovely green-dark brown natural patina.
