Ancient Greek: Kingom of Syria, Seleucus I Nicator, in the name of Antiochus I Soter, AR Tetradrachm 281-261 BC, Ekbatana mint, struck under Seleucus I c.294 BC onwards. Obv: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. / Rev: Zeus Aetophoros seated left, holding eagle and sceptre, in left field HAP monogram over anchor with flutes upward, forepart of horse lower left, MI monogram under throne, to right SELEUKOU upwards, below in exergue BASILEWS. 17.17g.
