Ancient Central Europe, Danube region, Hallstatt culture, ca. 10th to 8th century BCE. A cast-bronze bracelet of a minimalist design with a pair of tapered terminals that meet just past the tips. The exterior surfaces of the bangle are delicately incised with striated linear motifs that, when combined with the lustrous forest-green patina, imbue it with an elegant and attractive presentation.
