Ancient Roman Bronze Figurine of a Naked Boy wearing a Basket Personification of Season. Extremely rare personification of one of the seasons (probably the Autumn because of the Grape basket Vine twisting around his legs) . Probably part of composition of four similar boys how exactly this personifications were famous representing the four seasons in sence of wealthy, fertility and prosperity! also on the reverse of the roman coins with the propagandistic goals and legends like: FELICIA TEMPORA (from latin. Happy Times in sense of Felicity and Prosperous Times) . The details of the face are not well preserved and the surface somewhat rough, otherwise the body is entire and even in a rare (jumping from joy) position which makes it very plastic. With own natural green patina. Extremely rare. Material: Bronze Date: 2nd.
