Description: A large green translucent glass pitcher. A bulbous body and a long narrow neck with a ring in the middle, flared rim adorned with a thin ring of glass fibre yarn. A wide handle, finely worked and adorned with vertical streaks, the lower body is adorned with diagonal streaks, traces of ground base. Material: glass. Colour: Translucent green. Dating: Roman antiquity 2nd / 3rd century A. D. Height: 146 mm - Diameter: 100 mm - 193 grams. Condition: in very good condition, with a little repair made at the top of the neck in the flare, see picture. Origin: It comes from a private English collection acquired before the 2000s.
