Dimensions: H (with stand) 47cm ; H (head) 32. 5cm ; W (head) 24cm ; D (head) 28. 5cm Provenance: - acquired from Galerie Cecile Kerner (Brussels) in February 2020 - in the collection of Monsieur le Notaire H. B. (Brussels) between March 1998 and January or February 2020 - acquired from Galerie Minerva Harmonie - Evelyne Deleersnijder (Antwerp) in March 1998 (*) (*) The original certificate of Galerie Minerva Harmonie dated 30 March 1998 will be included (see pictures) . Note: - The restored nose (still visible on the pictures of 1998) was later removed by the previous owner. - Galerie Minerva Harmonie dates this head to the 1st century A. D. , although it is more likely to date from the early 2nd century A. D. The head is mounted on a modern painted plaster stand. - TRANSPORT, EXPORT AND CRATING WILL BE DONE BY EMBELCO ART SHIPPING - The Seller can prove that the lot was obtained legally , provenance statement seen by Catawiki.
