French designer André Cazenave (b. 1928) is perhaps best known for his luminous rocks. Cazenave began designing pebble lamps during the late 1960s. A group of three was sold at Sotheby's New York, The Collection of Robert Isabell, 17 December 2009, lot 3.
Condition Report:
The 'shades' all formed to simulate rocks and all appear in fair condition, The electricals would need to be tested and probably replaced by a professional electrician prior to use in a domestic setting - these are sold as decorative works of art only. All aluminium disk appear to be present - they are not connected and cannot be guaranteed to be the correct sizes. Please refer to additional image for reference.
