-a certificate of authenticity, provided by the Lenskoy committee in Paris, dated 2015 accompanies the Painting.

Born in Moscow, son of Count Mikhail Mikhailovich Lanskoy (1863-1924) , André Lanskoy studied in Saint Petersburg, then in kyiv.
He arrived in Paris in 1921 where he attended the Grande Chaumière academy and devoted himself entirely to painting. Wilhelm Uhde noticed it in 1924. After a long figurative period, he turned towards abstraction from 1938.

From 1924, he participated in the Salon d'Automne[3] .
In 1960, he participated in the exhibition [Where?] “Russian Painters of the School of Paris”.
