Es handelt sich um vierzehn Schwarz-Weiß-Acetate-Negativ und um ein Schwarz-Weiß-Acetat-Positiv. Die Acetate stammen direkt aus dem Andy-Warhol-Studio.
Ein Acetat ist ein fotografisches Negativ, das auf eine Folie übertragen wurde, es war der letzte ursprüngliche Schritt vor dem Siebdruck eines Bildes und das wichtigste Element in Warhols kreativem Prozess.

Anmerkung:
„Ladies and Gentlemen“ ist ein Fotoprojekt, das um 1975 spielt, als Warhol beschloss, einige der Drag Queens des New Yorker Nachtclubs „The Gilden Grape“ zu fotografieren. Sie posieren wie Hollywoodstars vor Warhols Kamera und enthüllen ihre Vision der Weiblichkeit, akzentuiert und gestärkt, weil künstlich (zumindest körperlich), aber im Ergebnis umso wahrer. There are fourteen black and white acetate negatives and one black and white acetate positive. The acetates came directly from the Andy Warhol studio. An acetate is a photographic negative that has been transferred to a transparency, it was the last original step before screen printing an image and the most important element in Warhol's creative process.
