While working as a commercial artist early in his career, Andy Warhol created promotional folders of hand-colored prints showcasing his work for prospective clients. The present lot was part of a promotional folder gifted to Vanity Fair Lingerie and acquired by a former employee.
Provenance: Gift from the artist to the original owner, a former employee of Vanity Fair Lingerie | Thence by descent
Condition: Work is in good overall condition. Sheet shows toning to extreme edges and some minor surface soiling along upper edge. Few small pinpoints of loss to top layer of paper at upper left edge. Work presents well. Unframed.
