Annibale Carracci, bottega di - Santa Margherita D’Antiochia
The painting we present is freely inspired by the painting by Annibale Carracci with the same subject that the artist painted in 1599 for the chapel of Gabriele Bombasi in the Roman church of Santa Caterina dei Funari.
The work is in a good state of conservation, minimal conservative restoration interventions; there are craquelures on the entire surface of the painting, due to the natural aging of the varnish. The dimensions of the canvas are 76x61 cm. The frame is intact, not contemporary but period, included in the price.
For shipments outside Italy, please note that it is necessary to request the Certificate of Free Circulation from the Italian Fine Arts, which requires a minimum waiting time of two months.
