Inscription: Lower right signed in the printing plate: " "Ioh. Iac. Haid excud. Aug. Vind.", darüber bezeichnet: "La Liberté chercée en vain | Die vergeblich gesuchte Freyheit [..]"".

Description: Allegorical depiction of a young woman in an elegant dress playing with a tethered bird. Below bilingual verse on the interplay of love and freedom.
