German Porcelain Cup with View of Berlin and saucer : KPM Berlin, c. 1825 // 30 A cylindrical form with a flared rim and a rolled handle; a gold-framed rectangular reserve with a colourfully painted and titled view of ''Das Krieges-Denkmal bei Berlin'' (the national monument for the wars of liberation on the Kreuzberg, designed by K. F. Schinkel, built 1817-21); a large gold vine band on the lower part of the cup, otherwise gold line decoration. Underglaze blue sceptre mark on the base, cup additionally with reddish-brown painter's mark. H. 12,2 cm, D. saucer 15 cm. // Ansichtentasse mit Untertasse : KPM Berlin, um 1825 // 30 : Gefusste Zylinderform mit ausschwingendem Rand und eingerolltem Blattstaengelhenkel; goldgerahmte Rechteckreserve mit farbig gemalter und betitelter Ansicht "Das Krieges-Denkmal bei Berlin" (von K. F. Schinkel entworfenes Nationaldenkmal fuer die Befreiungskriege auf dem Kreuzberg, erbaut 1817-21); auf der UT grosses Goldrankenband, sonst Goldliniendekor. Am Boden unterglasurblaue Zeptermarke, Tasse zusaetzlich mit rotbrauner Malereimarke. H. 12,2 cm, D. UT 15 cm.
