Antique Art Deco Platinum Amethyst Diamond Ring, Sz. 4, 3.93 gr. This is an Old European Cut amethyst set raised on center that is appx .50 ctw . There are sixteen round cut diamonds pave set in the setting throughout the ring. They range in size from 1.7mm to 2mm, due to setting exact measurements are not possible. Total carat weight for the diamonds is appx. 66 ctw or higher. The ring is a domed art deco design with pave diamonds in color H/I SI1 to SI2 or better. Alls tones are graded in the setting and I always lower the grading to be on the safe side when in a setting. The ring is 10mm down the finger and crosses side-to-side over the giner at appx. 15.7mm. The band has an ornate deisgn as well with a design around the band. The band is 1.3mm at the back of the finger. It is marked 10% Irid Plat and tested. The ring is in very good condition with virtually no wear. There is a slight scratch at the edge of the amethyst visible with magnification. (INV. W. 6521.38X5 SS4899 J LET LD 6/9/21)
