Antique Chinese Agate Incense Burner
Antique, Late 19th Century/Early 20th Century Chinese Hand Carved Agate Incense Burner. With original appraisal dated 1950, numbered 2 on the appraisal. Appraised for $2,100 in 1950 description says "Tao Kuang". A letter that came with the appraisal explains this jade piece was part of the collection of Mr. Chain Kiku of Mukden, China. Mr. Kiku was a manager of a bank and escaped as the Japanese were coming in. Measures approx. - 11 1/2" high x 9" wide. Please note, bottom of top has a chip on rim, and imperfection on inside rim of bowl.
