Antique French Engraved 18K Yellow Gold, Garnet &

This beautiful, extraordinary & rare Antique French Locket Bracelet has survived the test of time in excellent condition. Circa 1840-1860 it is constructed of elegantly and masterfully engraved 18K Yellow Gold , three Garnets and two Natural Pearls. There are French hallmarks on the clasp tongue as pictured as well as one hallmark on the lid of the locket section. The piece measures 7 5/8"" long including the clasp tongue and weighs 37.61 grams. The central medallion measures 1 1/2"" tall by 1 3/4"" wide. The locket section measures 1 1/8"" tall by 7/8""wide. Though a collectable one of a kind museum piece this lovely jewel is comfortable and durable enough to wear. This exceptional authentic period piece is truly distinctive and special. . .417-VL
