Antique French Gilt Bronze Garniture Set
DESCRIPTION: (3 Pcs) An antique french gilt bronze garniture set in the style of Louis XV, including a mantel clock with porcelain roman numerals dial. The clock is accompanied by a pair of gilt bronze five light candelabra with scroll arm candle holders and a relief figure cherub motif. The clock with floral ornate detailing and with several arts theme motif, depicting three cherub figures, one of each representing a different art field. One cherub holds a brush and an art palette representing the art of painting, a second cherub holds a chisel and bust, representing sculpture, and third cherub is holding a violin representing music.
CIRCA: 19th Century.
ORIGIN: France.
