Antique French dore bronze Tantalus executed in the Renaissance revival taste circa 1870. The well cast bronze case centering a hinged lid opening to the lift out interior holding four decanters and thirteen stems. Each with an etch decorated body in a grapevine pattern. Sides with bevel glass inserts with deep star cut centers. Exterior of the case resting on four stylized acanthus scroll feet. Case approximately 11 1/2 in. x 14 in. x 11 1/2 in.
