Green Tourmaline, Diamond, & Yellow Gold Bracelet

This stunning antique bracelet is one-of-a-kind piece!

It was created in Russia in the 1898 - 1908 by Carl Blank, one of Imperial Russia's finest jewelers, and features four emerald cut green tourmalines (total weight approx.4.5 carats) and five cushion cut diamonds (total weight approx. 1.78 carats) set in 14k yellow gold. Each tourmaline is framed in silver studded with rose cut diamonds.
The bracelet fits up to 6.5" wrist.
It has a safety chain and an "omega" safety catch.

There is a Russian 14k gold hallmark and a maker's mark in Cyrillic "CB" that stands for Carl Carlovich Blank who was born in Finland and moved to St. Petersburg to learn jewelry business. He joined the renowned firm of Karl Hahn, being made partner in 1911. Awarded the Imperial warrant at the end of the 19th century, the firm competed with Fabergé for Imperial commissions. Carl Blank won prizes for excellence at an exhibition in 1896 and won favor with the Imperial family by specializing in the diamond presentation gifts for the Russian Court.

The piece weighs 29.1 grams.
