The beautiful and very rare antique Russian Icon "St. Nikolas" was hand made and hand painted in Russia in 19th century, 1872. The artist used Egg tempera paint on wood. The icon is protected by very intricate and heavy silver riza(cover) with Hallmarks: 84,1872 and initials of silversmith. The size of the icon is 9 x 8 x 2". It is a gorgeous piece and has been preserved very well.
