Antique Victorian Era Turtle Top Parlor Table of French

Antique Victorian Era Turtle Top Parlor Table of French Design; this turtle top mahogany table shows a darkened and aged lacquer finish, probably original. It appears to be a French design, the stretcher shows three large carved balustrades and the apron shows a deeply carved rose motif at the corners and centers. The legs are carved in a built-up reverse scroll style. The top shows a smooth finish with a warm reddish hue, the finish here possibly not original. The table is in good condition for it's age. The top shows numerous scratches from use and heat and water stains. It measures 34" W x 51" L x 29" H.  Â
