Antique Victorian Hanging Lamp: Lions
American hanging lamp from the Victorian era. Ca. late 19th - early 20th century. Unidentified maker. Converted from an oil lamp to electric. Gilt Metal mounts with hand-painted glass shades. Glass shades are hand painted, with one large top shade with two lions (a male and a female) and a bottom globe / shade with a single female lion. Includes over 40 prisms to hang and refract light. About 50" long / tall by 18" wide. Large shade is 13 15/16" wide (diameter). Good condition. No chips on the larger shade, metal fittings have expected wear / patina.
