In profiliertem und ornamental verziertem Rahmen.

Horizontal ausgerichtetes Gemälde mit reich ausgestaltetem zentralperspektivisch angelegtem Innenraum mit gut konstruierter Kassettierung. Davor eine Profildeckplatte über akanthusblattverziertem Rücksprung. Auf der Platte ein goldfadendurchwirktes Seidentuch in Mauve. Darauf und davor ein überreiche strahlend farbiges Früchtestillleben mit Äpfeln, Feigen, Trauben und Pflaumen. Minimal rest. Etwas rissig.

Vergleichbar Sotheby's, New York, 22. Januar 2004, Lot 84. Das dortige Gemäldepaar wurde zu umgerechnet fast 160.000 Euro angeboten. Das eine Gemälde ist in einen ganz ähnlichen architektonischen Zusammenhang eingebettet. Die Akanthusvolute und die Wandkassettierung ähneln der dortigen Darstellung in besonderer Weise. Hier wie dort ragt eine profilierte Deckplatte von links aus über der Kehlung in den Raum hinein, wobei die Ausgestaltung sowohl des Stilllebens als solches, als auch die Wandverkleidung und der Tisch bei dem hier angebotenen Gemälde besonders qualitätvoll erscheint.
