A composite dinner service, comprising of: 8 Dinner Plates, 10" Diameter, 25.4 cms. 8 Dessert Plates, 6 5/8" Diameter, 16.8275 cms. 8 Saucers, 6 1/4" Diameter, 15.875 cms.6 Teacups, 2 1/4" High, 5.75 cms.4 Cereal bowls, rounded square form, 1 1/2" x 5" x 5", 3.81 x 12.7 x 12.7 cms.Serving dishes: two handled tray; oval vegetable dish; oval platter, creamer, sugar, cigarette bowl on stand; covered butter dish with two stands in sizes; salt and pepper shakers on shaped stand. 1" x 13" x 10", the largest. Most printed wIth GRIMWADES/ENGLAND/ OLD COTTAGE CHINTZ in various colors and iterations. Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. Circa 1950 and later. Condition: Almost all items have typical light crazing, a known issue with Winton's Chintzware. The vegetable bowl more seriously stained and crazed. Light nicks and wear to gilt rims. Stained hairline crack to teacup.
