Arthur Vidal Diehl New England Dock Painting

Depicts two boats at dock with men preparing to set out under the glow of dawn light. Diehl studied all over the United States and Exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1899. He is best known for his sand dune and harbor paintings of Cape Cod and had become so well known in Cape Cod that Fox Movie tone created a short film of him in Provincetown, Massachusetts in 1921.
