Preparatory sketch of an altarpiece, fully within the Baroque period, depicting the Assumption of Mary with Saints, God and Christ. Numerous subjects within the representation for a total of 10 main ones + angels. The archangel Michael in the center, the Madonna with Christ and God in Glory are recognised. There are three subjects to the left of the Madonna: the woman in the foreground in a light dress, who points with one hand and hold a lily in the other, and two angels above. The three subjects to the right of the Madonna are all angels. Michael is in the center. Above the Madonna, on her right and left, there are Christ with a cross in his hand and God stretching towards the Madonna. Size with frame: 66. 5 x 82 cm x 5. 5 cm. Painting size: 48 x 63. 5 cm.
