Oil on canvas portraying the French Catholic archbishop Francois de Harlay de Champvallon, French artist of the mid-eighteenth century. From a private collection and one of a pair. In fair condition, with patina. First canvas and coeval stretcher. Small restorations emerged under Wood’s lamp. Signs of aging, as pictured.
