Rare first illustrated edition. The plates, engraved in copper by Jacob Georg Schmuzer, concern geometrical figures, fortifications, astronomical configurations and cosmography problems. The volume came out as a supplement to the mathematical work of the Austrian Jesuit who was greatly involved in the creation of the Vienna mathematical cabinet. Backer-Sommervogel, v. 8, col. 903.
