It is a creation by the ceramist "Luc" from Vallauris, a French village on the Côte d'Azur, renowned for its ceramics workshops. The artist, real name Auguste Lucchesi, born in 1913, discovered Vallauris in 1948 and settled there in 1951. He was President of the Association Vallaurienne d'Expansion Céramique from 1961. The workshop ceased to exist in 2004. The fountain is 1. 70 m high, 75 cm wide and 50 cm deep. It is made up of 2 basins decorated with dolphins spitting water distributed by 2 small pumps working in a closed circuit. It rests on a concrete base (supplied) and is removable in several parts. The fountain is in perfect working condition and as new.
