Atomic Sputnik Aluminum Panton Poulsen Panthella Lamp. This sleek and modern table lamp is made in the style of Verner Panton and Louis Poulsen's iconic Panthella table lamp, which was developed in 1971. Panton originally wanted Panthella to have a metal shade, but this was not possible with the technology of the time period. Years and numerous technological advances later, several Panthella reduxes (now with metal shades) have been released. This particular lamp has the same modern and distinctive shape as the original Panthella, but with a slightly narrower base. It is made of spun aluminum, adding to the futuristic sensibility. It has two light sockets, and a small switch on the cord for turning the lamp on and off. This space age style lamp is out of this world.

Dimensions are 24 in h x 15.5 in w x 15.5 in d. Condition is good. There is general well, and there are scratches throughout. There is a dent in the lampshade.
