Probably produced as a sopraporte. François Marandet, having examined a photograph of the works, has suggested an attribution of Jean-Baptiste Oudry for the Park landscape with gardener.
Condition:
Oil on canvas, lined. Paint surface with a network of craquelure, superficial stains and some small colour losses. Some old retouching visible in parts. Colour abrasions and stretcher marks along the edges.
Under UV light: several retouches along the edges. Further retouches in the foreground and the background. Varnish appears in fluorescent green. Without frame.
