Pencil on paper. 12.4 x 20.6 cm. Estate stamp (Lugt 1775b) on backing card and signed, dated and inscribed by an unknown hand. Estate stamp verso and inscribed again by hand. - Studio-related crease marks, otherwise in perfect condition.

This series of characters are illustrations from the tragicomedy "Hilfe! A child has fallen from the sky" by the writer Wilhelm Schmidtbonn (1876-1952) from Bonn. The play premiered on 28 February 1910 at the Kammerspiele of the Deutsches Theater Berlin.
