Kornikoff St. Petersburg, Reste der blauen Stempelmarke 1835-1917, zylindrische Form mit umlaufend breitem, leicht geschwungenem Kragen auf der Schulter und Mündungswulst, prunkvoll verziert mit Reliefdekor aus beidseitigem Portraitmedaillon Zar Peter I. (1672-1725) in Biskuitporzellan, flankierenden Lorbeerzweigen und Muschelrelief auf der Schulter, an diesem beidseitig ein halbplastischer Kopf im Strahlenkranz sowie zwei plastische Handhaben als Wolkenformation mit Putto und antikisierende Frau mit Blumenkorb, wohl Darstellung der römischen Göttin Flora und Allegorie des Frühlings, die Schauseite zusätzlich mit zahlreichen anmodellierten Blüten verziert, alles farb- und goldstaffiert, seltenes Stück ohne Sockel, alt restaurierter Zustand mit partiellen Brandfehlern und teils bestoßenem Blütenbesatz, H 39,5 cm. Extraordinary cachepot with a portrait of the Tsar
Kornikoff, St Petersburg; remnants of the blue stamp mark 1835-1917, cylindrical shape with a wide, slightly curved collar running all the way round the shoulder and a rim, lavishly decorated with relief decoration featuring a portrait medallion of Tsar Peter I (1672-1725) in bisque porcelain, flanked by laurel branches and a shell relief on the shoulder, on either side of which is a semi-relief head within a halo, as well as two sculpted handles in the form of a cloud formation featuring a putto and an antique-style woman with a basket of flowers, presumably depicting the Roman goddess Flora and an allegory of spring; the front is additionally adorned with numerous modelled flowers, all painted in colour and gilded; a rare piece without a plinth, in a condition of historical restoration with partial firing defects and partly chipped floral decoration; H 39.5 cm.
