Autograph album featuring signatures by various entertainers and actors, including: Bransby Williams (two autographs, one with a self-portrait of him as Mr Micawber, Nat Allen, John Wayne, Jimmy Edwards, Geoffrey Sumner, Raymond Maye, Robert Donat, Maj Britt, Anton Karas, Carole Carr, Jack Payne,Wilfred Pickles, Reginald Denney, Victor Silvester, Jack Buchanan, Nancy Price, Terry Thomas, Kathleen Ferrier, Avis Scott, Richard Hearne, Donald Peers, Wallis Gold, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Stanley Holloway, Greta Gynt, Odette Churchill, Margaret Rutherford, Leslie Mitchell, Arthur Askey, Jerry Desmond, Ralph Lynn, Richard Todd, Walt Disney, Malcolm Sargent, Tex Ritter, Lev Pouishnoff, Cyril Smith, Barbara Windsor and others, some signatures clipped and pasted onto album pages, a few loosely inserted, handling wear, green faux-leather, joints a bit tender and with occasional tape repairs, small 8vo, c. 1950s; also including photographs signed by Peter Haigh, Noelle Middleton, Mary Malcolm, Sylvia Peters and others, mostly 5.5 x 3.5" (13)

PROVENANCE: signatures were obtained by the vendor's late grandfather, who was a camera and audio technician at the Alexander Palace in London from 1949-1955.
