Condition Report:
Very good condition overall for an object of this type and age. Approximately 1 ½ inch segment of horizontal element below the seated figure with hairline cracks and possible restoration. Indentation to the lower half of the nose of the figure. Some marks, nicks, scratches and abrasions throughout. Crusty remains of applied material to the horns and the figure, probably where abrus seeds were once attached. Very fine glossy patina, rubbed at the high points, exposing the reddish wood. Freestanding.
