A 19TH CENTURY GILT BRASS REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH CALENDAR AND DUAL TIME ZONES the unusual case having a moulded top with hinged handle above a rectangular case with bevelled glass panels and Atlantes corners enclosing an enamel dial with Roman numerals above three subsidiary dials for days/date and London time fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with original gilt scroll engraved lever escapement striking and repeating the hours on a bell which is mounted to the underside, the hammer linked to the striking mechanism via a fusee style chain, backplate with makers stamps for 'Japy Freres' and 'Barbotte'
