Original vintage semi-glossy 5.5 x 3.5 silver gelatin photo of the Beatles by Merseybeat photographer Dick Matthews, which shows the band—with Pete Best as drummer—dressed in leather and posing with their instruments at Liverpoolâ€â„¢s Cavern Club on December 8, 1961; the boys were taking a break during a lunchtime session when they performed with singer Davy Jones. Consignor notes that the photo derives from the collection of Beatles UK fan club secretary Freda Kelly. In very good to fine condition, with light scuffing, and a light stain to the lower right corner. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
