Beautiful Japanese blue and white porcelain wash basin

A beautiful Japanese blue and white porcelain wash basin, early to mid-20th Century, featuring an exquisitely painted dragon on the tondo, around the inside vertical panels containing additional dragons and floral/geometric elements, the rim adorned with a row of intricate floral elements. The outside of the vessel decorated with additional floral devices alternating with bordered geometricized flowers; six Japanese characters within a linear circle on bottom, mentioning the 'Auspicious City' and making reference to a woman. Dia: 18 ¼ in (46.3 cm). This piece has well cared for and is in great condition.
