Bidjar - Carpet - 180 cm - 115 cm

You are bidding on an approx. 1 cm thick high-quality Persian carpet -Bidjar- in good overall condition. Bidjar carpets are very dense and heavy and of excellent wool quality. During production, the weavers press the pile so hard that it stands almost vertically. The weft and knots are beaten with heavy wooden or metal combs, resulting in a very dense pile. The density of the pile is intended to prevent dirt particles from getting into the pile. Bidjar carpets are usually made in red and blue with beige elements. They are robust and durable and give any room a warm and elegant charm. The dimensions without fringes are: 180 x 115 cm.
