A rare big size (36,5 cm width) good quality Chinese Canton porcelain terrine with cover. Alternating panels of mandarin interior scenes and combination of flowers, fruits, birds and butterflies, places between panels and boarders decorated with flower sprays, fruits and butterflies. Well finished foot rim, typical for period. Origin: China, Qing dynasty, late Dao. Guang period. Provenance: private collection, Vienna, Austria. Terrin in very good condition. One repair on the top rim of terrine and small dent on the rim of cover. Details on close-up pictures. Not UV tested.
