Black Forest Stag Clock

A late 19th century Black Forest figural clock. 8-day Brass time and strike movement marked "Leuenberger, Interlaken, 1359" with a carved wooden dial and applied Roman numerals on porcelain plaques. Hand-carved case with a full bodied Red Stag standing on a forest floor, fitted with Stag horns. Original dark finish with some wear and minor damage, running when cataloged. 32 1/4" high overall.
