An English Staffordshire blue transfer decorated part dinner service in the "Oriental" pattern, Ridgway, 19th century, printed factory marks "Oriental / WR / England", with additional impressed marks, together with others. Comprising fifteen 9 3/4in dinner plates; fourteen 9in luncheon plates; thirteen 9in salad plates; thirteen 8in plates; twenty-six 5 3/4in plates/saucers; eight 6in bowls; four 6in bowls; four 5 1/4in bowls; two demitasse and five saucers; two cream soups; seven small cups; creme brulee; and eleven miscellaneous small bowls and saucers. (approximately 133 pieces)

Condition Report: Typical marks, wear and rubbing to decoration. Crazing and minor hairlines and discoloration throughout. With abrasions, roughness and small rim and foot chips / flea bites throughout. Two dinner plates with rim chips and a hairline. One 8" plate with a small rim chip. Two 6 1/2" bowls with significant hairlines. One 5 1/4" bowl with a hairline. One demitasse saucer with a chip. One 10 1/2" plate with heavy wear and chipping to the foot. One 6 1/2" bowl with a full diameter break and repair.
