Rare bow made of wood with insertions of vegetable fiber and animal skin for the bow string. Light and flexible, the weapon was intended to hunt for the economic sustainment of the Limbu tribe of the Nagaland, Assam and Sikkim area. Origin: former collection by Anna Casella Paltrinieri, anthropologist. Graduate in Education and Philosophy from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy) . Lecturer in Cultural Anthropology at the various offices of Università Cattolica since 1999. In 2002 she became a researcher in Demoethnoanthropological Disciplines. She gained significant field experience doing research and travelling – in team and alone – in several countries in South America (mainly Brazil) , Africa, Asia and Oceania, as well as Canada and Italy. She’s a founding member of ANUAC (Italian Association of Cultural Anthropology University students) , as well as other institutes, clubs and industry associations.
