A lovely antique Chinese porcelain extremely thin and well potted Kraaienkom with an interior and exterior decoration of peonies, bamboo, swimming and sitting ducks, and in the centre a crow on rock (kraai in Dutch, therefor referred to as Kraaienkom=crow bowl) in mountainous landscapes, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of auspicious and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Ming dynasty, Wanli period (1572-1620) . On the bottom an unglazed foot rim showing age and material. Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Diameter: 12,2 centimeter. Provenance: very old private Dutch estate, The Hague area. Condition: The object is in very good condition, minute glaze fritting, two hairlines, without any restorations.
