The decoration represents a lake landscape with herons, bamboo, butterflies and insects. Made with the highest executive quality, it is in excellent general condition with excellent integrity on the lacquer, no defects and minimal natural ivory vein visible in the photo Japanese object from the Meiji period The item was made prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations regarding the sale of ivory.
