George III (1760-1820), Pre-1816 issues, Pattern Farthing, 1798 (early Soho), by C.H. Küchler, in copper, draped bust right, three berries in wreath, legend around raised rim, rev. Britannia seated left on rock, offering an olive sprig forward, holding a trident to her side, soho on rock, aligned slightly below base of shield, 6h (Cooke 310-11; BMC 1205 [KF 4]; Selig –). Good extremely fine with traces of original colour [slabbed NGC PF 63 BN] £600-£800
