British School, early 19th century- Portrait sketch of David Roberts, RA; pencil and watercolour on paper, indistinctly signed (lower right) and faintly inscribed 'David Roberts RA' (lower edge), 21.7 x 16.3 cm.: British School, early 19th century- Portrait sketch of John Martin; pencil on paper, 18.6 x 15.2 cm. Both works are framed, mounted, and glazed, and unexamined out of frame. General marks and scuffs to the frames. Evidence of discolouration and foxing to the sketch of David Roberts, alongside further dirty marks, creases, and possible repaired damage upper left. Light creasing, dirty marks, and spots of foxing to the sketch of John Martin. Otherwise in fair condition overall.
