Description:A set of early 20th century jsterling silver gilt and jade desk implements in a fitted case, retailed by J. C. Vickery of London. Each piece is decorated in the round with a vermeil serpent having ruby or rubelite eyes. Unmarked except a very faint trace of a British sterling hallmark on one item; these were presumably sent to the assayers before being finished and gilded.
